Hey everyone! Sorry for the delay on this update. I wanted to finish all the bookplates first to be able to show them to you all in one update! I hope you understand. ^^u

A preview of the comic books!

Here we are, the books look freaking amazing! I am SO happy! Now that I am able to see the comic books printed in person, I can finally relax, hahaha.

Here, have a look!

The colors also came out amazing, I was worried that some of the green colors of the comic would become rather muted and not bright enough, but it all works out! And our last minute color tweaking on the older pages really paid off too!

I can't wait for you all to have your books in your hands! And with that said, I have more stuff that I can't wait for you to get your hands on!

All 33 bookplates are completed!

I'm not going to show all of them individually, but I want you all to see how they came out.

A lot of you wanted Ezmeralda! So my objective with these bookplates was to make as many different types of poses and ideas as possible.

The bookplates will come with a surprise. I added a sparkly effect to every one of them!

It is a little hard to see, but this picture shows some of the sparkles I am talking about.

They don't detract from the drawing at all, which is pretty cool! You can flash it like a holographic trading card and you can see how it sparkles. I absolutely love it~ :D

Final Address confirmation

The time has come! I will be sending an E-mail to every backer so that you may change your address if you need to.

This means that credit cards for pre-orders are going to be charged soon as well. So I hope you all keep that in mind!

Getting the shipping supplies has been a bit difficult, but I am hoping to get the stuff in by the middle of the month to start shipping stuff off!

We are almost done! I can't wait to ship everything!

Comics have finally arrived! + Star Warrior OC progress

I've been really eager to post this update, but I waited until I had a date for the comics arriving. It's today! I received the tracking numbers a mere few days before the packages arrived. That was a surprise!

Comic books have arrived! Next step is approaching!

So many boxes! I can't wait to open them ... in a couple more weeks! I'm currently keeping all the comic boxes isolated for a set period. This is an extra precaution due to the quarantine, I hope you understand.

I'm working on sending the comics out as soon as possible of course. I need to resume shopping for packaging supplies, which is affected by the quarantine. As you all may know, shipping was hard enough already. Now it is even harder, so do excuse any tardiness that may occur. I hope you are all staying safe!

Star Warrior OC progress!

A lot of progress has been made on the custom Star Warrior OCs recently, and I am almost finished with them all!

Here are just a few examples of what I've completed.

Only two more are left and I am so excited about it! I will be posting these images periodically as time allows with all the notes that come with every Star Warrior OC commission.

I will post a new update when I open up the boxes so we can check out these comics! I can't wait to look at them!

PDF Downloads Available! + Book Delays + Merchandise progress

Hello everyone,

I've been wanting to make an important update about the comic books.

The book printing is delayed by a few weeks due to the recent outbreaks.

Unfortunately, I am unsure when the books would arrive at my doorstep, this has been true for many Kickstarter projects that do their printing in China. It will most probably be after March since the books were scheduled to arrive mid March at my doorstep. I'm sorry if this causes any inconveniences and I appreciate your understanding.

This also means that I won't have books for sale at Furnal Equinox this year which is very unfortunate, however I will be taking pre-orders at the convention.

If you have paid for the add-ons by card, we will be charging those as soon as we know when the delivery dates will be.

But at least you won't have to wait to read the comic any longer!

PDF Downloads for Star Warriors: Ezmeralda's Ascenscion are ready!

That's right, the PDF file is ready to download TODAY! You can at least get the PDF while you all wait for the actual book to come along.

Merchandise progress!

We have prints, we have stickers, we have buttons! Only few things are left!

Buttons have all been pressed manually by yours truly! It took a while, but in the end the machine ended up being some nice downtime fun while I watched youtube videos ^^ I pressed approximately 400 buttons, that's 800 times pulling the lever on that machine! I'm finally gaining muscle it seems.

While it is an easy process manually, it is equally as easy to ruin the production of buttons and break stuff.

I made many spares of each button, so losing one or two is not a bad thing at all.

I have arranged all the prints and stickers based on the amounts needed for the Kickstarter fulfillment, so that's been organized neatly!

While the book has been delayed, I am doing my best to get as much done as possible... thank you all for being patient with me. Once the book is in your hands, I am sure you will love it ^^

Production Update! Printing underway + PDF file coming soon + merchandise

Hello everyone!

I have exciting news to share with you all!

Printing is underway!

After many MANY proofs and lots of alterations, we have finally been cleared for printing by Print Ninja! They are going to start printing February 10th and I am so excited!

I mean, just look at all the different versions of the comic we sent in:

I will update with photos of the books when they arrive at my home!

PDF files coming soon!

Since the printing has been approved, it means that the PDF files for the comic will be finished soon as well! All I need to do is make a few small changes and it will be ready to go. The next update will probably be an announcement for the PDF release!

Bookplates are here!

They are awesome! The bookplates take well to my shading markers and pencil. I will be working on these over time while the books are getting ready.

Also, I designed it so that Miracle is looking down from above, saying whatever she wants.

Once you get the bookplate, you are free to add whatever kind of dialogue you want, or don't add anything at all! It's your drawing after all. :D

I can't wait to draw all of these sketches for you guys!

Stickers and Bookmarks are here!

They look great! They arrived with no problems and are ready to go! Of course we still have to wait for the books.

Buttons and Prints are underway.

Buttons and prints have been a bit slower, but I have worked on some prototypes for these and they are looking great as well!

I do have to mention that while I did promise to deliver certain weights for glossy and matte prints, they are slightly different.  

Glossy prints are now 80lb instead of 100lb and Matte prints are now 100lb instead of 60lb  

The store I planned on going to ended up being too expensive for my budget, so I went to a more reliable printing location. I certainly hope this doesn't cause any inconveniences to all of you.  

I am excited that everything is coming together. I can see the goal now right in front of me. I just need to cross it!

Hello everyone and happy (Late) Christmas!

It's been a while! I wanted to make sure I had something good to show you all before I updated again. So let's get started! I'm excited to share so much today!

The hard proof page sheets for the comic have arrived

Book printing is REALLY close!

These sheets are here so I can see how the colors are working for the final book! This will help me edit and make the image clearer or tweak some of the colors I need in order to make the book perfect ^^ 

I have blurred a few of the pages because there are some secrets there that are a bit too clear to find (Yes, my crazy low opacity stuff is here too.)

I can't wait to get my hands on the book!

All of the merchandise is almost here!

The merchandise has already been ordered and should arrive this January!

Here is a preview for the stickers! The color on Anthrax is not final, I thought the shadows looked a bit dark.

The perler beads are here! and there are a lot of them. Perler production is already under way, getting all these colors as close to the original ones was a challenge as well. Just look at these process pages:

I have more than 30 sprite perlers to make, so it's time to rev up the iron! I'll share the completed perlers when they are done!

Work on Star Warrior OC's begins this Janurary

Now that the merchandise has been ordered and the perler content is on a pipeline, I am ready to start tackling the Star Warrior OC's I have about 10 to make and I'm excited to make your designs come to life! Or in this case.. death.
